Claims cooperation clause

A provision in an insurance policy that obligates the insured to cooperate with the insurer in the investigation, defense, and settlement of a claim. This includes providing timely notice of a loss, furnishing relevant documents, and assisting in legal proceedings. Failure to comply with this clause can result in the insurer denying coverage for the claim.
