Term · Insurance and risk management · MLC-T-INS-000924
The premium rate applied to the insured value of the personal property inside a building, such as furniture, equipment, and stock, set separately from the rate for the building itself. Its level depends on the nature of the contents, for example the combustibility of stock, together with the building's construction and protection. Rates are usually quoted per 100 dollars of insured value.
