Rolling stock

The wheeled vehicles of a railway, such as locomotives, freight cars and passenger coaches, and by extension the truck and bus fleets of a transport operator. Insurance on rolling stock covers physical loss from perils such as collision, derailment and fire. Aircraft are insured separately as aviation risks and are not part of rolling stock.
