Financial arrangements where the availability or terms of funding are contingent upon the occurrence of specific, predefined events. These events can include natural disasters, changes in market conditions, or the achievement of certain project milestones. Such financings are often used in catastrophe bonds or other risk transfer mechanisms to provide liquidity after a loss event.
