The date and time when an insurance policy ceases to provide coverage, marking the end of the contractual agreement between the insurer and the policyholder. At this point, the policy's terms and conditions are no longer in effect, and the insured event will not be covered unless the policy is renewed or replaced. Policy expiration dates are clearly stated on the declarations page of the insurance contract.
