Indexed universal life
Term · Insurance and risk management · MLC-T-INS-001814
A type of universal life insurance where the cash value growth is linked to the performance of a specific stock market index, such as the S&P 500. Policyholders do not directly invest in the index but receive interest credits based on its gains, often with a guaranteed minimum interest rate and a cap on maximum returns. This structure offers potential for higher cash value growth than traditional universal life, while providing some downside protection.
