Installment tail coverage
Term · Insurance and risk management · MLC-T-INS-001848
An extended reporting period endorsement for claims-made liability policies, where the premium for the tail coverage is paid in multiple installments rather than a single upfront payment. This option makes the cost of extending coverage for future claims arising from past acts more manageable for the insured. It provides coverage for claims reported after the policy's expiration but for incidents that occurred during the policy period.
