Insurance examiner

An official employed by a state insurance department to conduct audits and examinations of insurance companies operating within the state. These examiners review an insurer's financial records, operational procedures, and market conduct to verify compliance with state laws and regulations. Financial examinations are conducted periodically, such as every three to five years, to monitor the solvency and financial stability of the insurer.
