Limited payment life insurance

A type of whole life insurance where premiums are paid for a specified period, such as 10, 20 years, or until a certain age, after which no further premiums are due. The policy remains in force for the insured's entire life, providing a death benefit. The face amount of the policy is paid out upon the death of the insured.
