Lloyd's Central Fund

A mutual fund maintained by the Corporation of Lloyd's to provide additional security for policyholders in the event that a syndicate's own assets are insufficient to meet its liabilities. All underwriting members of Lloyd's contribute to this fund, which acts as a final layer of protection. Its primary purpose is to support the solvency of the Lloyd's market as a whole.
