Merger and acquisition litigation

Legal disputes that arise during or after the process of combining two or more companies. These lawsuits often involve allegations of breach of fiduciary duty by corporate directors, misrepresentation of financial information, or inadequate disclosure to shareholders. Directors and officers (D&O) liability insurance policies are frequently called upon to cover the defense costs and settlements associated with such litigation.
