Off-duty coverage

Insurance for law enforcement officers who work off duty, in security or traffic jobs for private employers, where their agency's workers' compensation and liability protection might not respond. Georgia's rules define off-duty police employment as work for an entity other than the officer's own agency that involves actual or potential use of police powers. Programs supply liability insurance and workers' compensation for these assignments.
