Personal umbrella policy PUP

An insurance policy that provides additional liability coverage beyond the limits of underlying auto, homeowner's, or other personal liability policies. It also offers coverage for some claims not covered by the underlying policies, subject to a self-insured retention. A personal umbrella policy typically offers limits of $1 million or more.
