Reciprocal insurance

A form of insurance where a group of individuals or businesses, called subscribers, agree to exchange insurance contracts with each other. Each subscriber is both an insured and an insurer, sharing in the risks and rewards of the collective. An attorney-in-fact manages the operations, underwriting, and claims for the reciprocal exchange.
