Reproduction cost

The expense to construct an exact replica of an insured property using identical materials, design, and workmanship at current prices. This valuation method accounts for the cost of labor, materials, and overhead to rebuild the structure as it was before a loss. It differs from replacement cost, which considers the cost to replace with a property of similar utility using modern materials and construction methods.
