Risk prioritization

The process of ranking identified risks based on their potential impact and likelihood of occurrence. This evaluation allows an organization to focus its resources on managing the most severe threats first. The ranking is often visualized using a risk matrix or heat map, which plots probability against impact on a grid to guide the allocation of mitigation efforts.
