Radar climatology

The study of long-term patterns and statistics of meteorological phenomena using data collected by radar systems. This field analyzes historical radar observations to understand the frequency, intensity, and spatial distribution of precipitation, thunderstorms, and other weather events. Radar climatology contributes to hydrological modeling and hazard assessment.
