Snow trails

Streaks of falling snow that appear to originate from specific cloud layers or precipitation bands, often visible against a darker sky. These trails indicate localized precipitation within a cloud system and can sometimes reach the ground as snow showers. They are a visual manifestation of precipitation processes occurring within the atmosphere.
