Tromba

A narrow, funnel-shaped cloud column extending downward from the base of a cumuliform cloud, but not reaching the ground or a water surface. It represents a rotating column of air, often visible due to condensation or dust. When a tromba makes contact with the surface, it becomes classified as a tornado or waterspout.
