Tuba

A supplementary cloud feature that appears as a column or cone hanging from the base of a cumulonimbus or cumulus cloud. This appendage is the visible condensation funnel of a tornado or waterspout. While a tuba indicates the presence of a rotating column of air, it does not necessarily reach the ground.
