TAC regimen

  1. An abbreviation for a chemotherapy combination used with other types of therapy to treat breast cancer. It includes the drugs docetaxel (Taxotere), doxorubicin hydrochloride (Adriamycin), and cyclophosphamide. Also called TAC.

  2. A regimen consisting of docetaxel, doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide that can be used in the treatment of breast cancer.
