AC regimen

  1. An abbreviation for a chemotherapy combination used with other types of therapy to treat breast cancer, including breast cancer that has spread or come back. It includes the drugs doxorubicin hydrochloride (Adriamycin) and cyclophosphamide. Also called AC.

  2. A regimen consisting of cyclophosphamide and doxorubicin that can be used in the treatment for breast cancer. Cyclophosphamide/doxorubicin every 21 days regimen may be used for the treatment of breast cancer.
