VIP regimen

  1. An abbreviation for a chemotherapy combination used to treat advanced testicular cancer. It is often used in patients who cannot receive bleomycin. It includes the drugs etoposide (VePesid), ifosfamide, and cisplatin (Platinol). Also called VIP.

  2. A regimen consisting of etoposide, ifosfamide and cisplatin used for the treatment of advanced-stage germ cell gonadal cancers.
