Claims (1)

  1. A method of preventing or treating a topical inflammatory disease inducing cytokine release syndrome, comprising applying topically a composition comprising at least one dual acting polymer bound to glycerol and able to bind at least one pro-inflammatory compound, for topical use to a subject in need thereof. 2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the least one pro-inflammatory compound is selected from the group consisting of matrix metalloproteases, histamines, cytokines, cellular receptors, metal ions, immunoglobulins and glycoproteins. 3. The method according to claim 1, wherein the topical inflammatory disease is selected from the group consisting of upper respiratory tract viral infections, wounds and ulcers, allergy, asthma, pollution induced respiratory diseases, gastro-intestinal ulcers, hemorrhoids, genital infections, ocular allergy, conjunctivitis, and ocular inflammation. 4. The method according to claim 1, wherein the total amount of the at least one dual acting polymer is ranging from 0.01% to 5% by weight of total weight of said composition. 5. The method according to claim 1, further comprising at least one pharmaceutically acceptable excipient selected from the group consisting of honey, propolis extract and vegetable gum. 6. The method according to claim 1, further comprising at least one medication; selected from the group consisting of-an analgesic, antibiotic, anti-inflammatory drug, antihistamine, vasodilator, bronchodilator, antioedematous drug, and an essential oil. 7. The method according to claim 1, wherein said composition is topically applied on a damaged inflamed biological surface. 8. The method according to claim 1, wherein said composition is administered as a liquid, inhaler, liquid bandage, solution, gel, cream, paste, or ointment, presented in sprays, tubes, ampoules, liquid embedded cotton or polymeric bandages, granules, powder or soft-gel capsules. 9. The method according to claim 1, wherein the at least one dual acting polymer is natural, semi-synthetic and/or synthetic. 10. The method according to claim 9, wherein the at least one dual acting polymer is a tannin obtained from a plant or parts of the plant.
