Protein tertiary structure

The three-dimensional conformation of a polypeptide chain of a globular protein in its native folded state. The tertiary structure is determined by four interactions: hydrogen bonding, electrostatic interactions (ionic), hydrophobic interactions and covalent cross-linkages.
