Extended connectivity fingerprints
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004255
A type of molecular descriptor used in cheminformatics that encodes structural information about a molecule in a circular fashion. These fingerprints capture features such as atom types, bond types, and connectivity within defined radii around each atom. They are widely used for similarity searching, virtual screening, and predictive modeling in drug discovery.
