2D structure
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000013
A representation of a chemical compound that illustrates the connectivity of its atoms and the arrangement of bonds in a planar fashion. This includes information about bond order and atom types, but not the three-dimensional spatial orientation. Common examples are Lewis structures and structural formulas drawn on paper.
