Nominal property value

A qualitative attribute or characteristic of a substance or system that is expressed as a name, symbol, or code, rather than a numerical quantity. This value categorizes an item into distinct groups without any inherent order or magnitude. Examples include blood type (A, B, AB, O) or the presence of a specific antigen.
