Personal protective device

Any equipment worn by an individual to minimize exposure to hazards that cause serious workplace injuries and illnesses. These devices are designed to protect against chemical, physical, electrical, mechanical, or other workplace dangers. Examples include safety glasses, gloves, respirators, and hard hats, which must meet specific safety standards.
