Individual protective device

Any equipment or clothing designed to be worn or held by a person to protect against hazards in the workplace or environment. These devices reduce exposure to chemical, physical, or biological agents that could cause injury or illness. Examples include respirators, gloves, safety glasses, and protective suits, which must meet specific safety standards.
