Active sampling
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000188
A method of collecting a sample where a pump or other mechanical device is used to draw a known volume of fluid, such as air or water, through a collection medium. This technique allows for precise control over the sample volume and flow rate. It is commonly employed for environmental monitoring and personal exposure assessment.
