Risk analysis

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010371

The systematic use of available information to identify hazards and to estimate the risk to individuals, populations, or the environment. This process involves evaluating the probability of adverse effects and the magnitude of those effects. It often includes a qualitative or quantitative assessment of potential harm from chemical exposure.
