802.11b

An Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) standard for wireless local area networks (WLANs) operating in the 2.4 GHz frequency band. It was one of the first widely adopted Wi-Fi standards, offering theoretical maximum data rates of up to 11 Mbps. This standard uses Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS) modulation.
