802.11n

An Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) standard for wireless local area networks (WLANs) that operates in both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands. It introduced Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) technology, allowing for multiple antennas to transmit and receive data simultaneously. This standard significantly increased throughput, with theoretical maximum data rates reaching up to 600 Mbps.
