Blacklist
Term · Computing and IT · MLC-T-CMP-000114
A list of entities, such as IP addresses, email addresses, or applications, that are denied access to a particular system or resource. In cybersecurity, it is a basic access control mechanism where everything is allowed by default unless it appears on the list. This approach contrasts with a whitelist, which denies all entities except those explicitly listed as trusted.
