Client-server model

A distributed application architecture that partitions tasks or workloads between service providers, called servers, and service requesters, called clients. Clients request services from servers, which then perform the requested task and return the results. This model is widely used for web browsing, email, and database access, where a central server manages resources for multiple client devices.
