Docking station

A hardware accessory that provides a way to connect a portable computer, such as a laptop, to multiple peripheral devices and power through a single connection. It allows a laptop to function as a desktop computer with external monitors, keyboards, and mice. Many modern docking stations use USB-C or Thunderbolt connections.
