Email bomb

A malicious act of sending a massive volume of email messages to a specific address or server with the intent to overwhelm it, causing it to crash or become unusable. This can be achieved by sending a large number of messages simultaneously or by subscribing the target to numerous mailing lists. Email bombing is a form of denial-of-service attack.
