Zip bomb

A malicious archive file, typically in the ZIP format, designed to crash or disable the program or system that attempts to decompress it. It achieves this by containing highly compressed data that expands into an extremely large size, consuming excessive disk space, memory, or CPU resources. A common technique involves nested archives or files with high redundancy.
