A set of rules applied by the owner or manager of a network, website, or information system that restricts the ways in which the system may be used. This End-User Policy (EUP), also called an Acceptable Use Policy, specifies permitted and prohibited actions for users to prevent illegal activities and to manage network resources. Violations of the policy can result in consequences such as account suspension or termination of service.
