CORS
Term · Computing and IT · MLC-T-CMP-000237
A security mechanism that allows web browsers to permit web pages to make requests to a different domain than the one from which the web page itself originated. It defines a way for a browser and server to determine whether it is safe to allow cross-origin HTTP requests. Without CORS, browsers enforce a same-origin policy, preventing such requests for security reasons.
