Extended reality

A set of immersive technologies that merge the physical and virtual worlds or create entirely new digital environments. Extended reality (XR) includes the entire spectrum from virtual reality (VR), which provides complete immersion in a digital world, to augmented reality (AR), which overlays digital information onto the real world. Mixed reality (MR) is a more advanced form of AR where digital objects can interact with the physical environment in real time.
