An operating system version released by Apple for its Macintosh line of computers. This iteration, officially macOS High Sierra 10.13, introduced the Apple File System (APFS) as the default file system for solid-state drives. It also brought improvements to graphics technology with Metal 2 and enhanced virtual reality support.
