SIM card

A small, removable smart card containing an integrated circuit that securely stores subscriber information for a mobile device. The Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) holds a unique identifier called the International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) and authentication keys, which are used to connect the device to a specific mobile network. Physical SIM cards come in several standard sizes, including mini-SIM, micro-SIM, and nano-SIM, while an eSIM is a non-removable, embedded version.
