Government subsidy for repairs and alterations

In the American Housing Survey, data were collected for units who had a major repair in the last two years. Included are units who received a low interest loan or grant from an assistance program provided by the federal, state, or local government for the purpose of obtaining or installing energy conservation products for low-income households. The type of products include insulation, storm doors, storm windows, weather stripping, caulking, furnace tune ups, or for repair of broken doors and windows.
