Statistics about Foreign Trade

The Foreign Trade Division is the official source of U.S. merchandise trade data for commodities exported out of or imported into the U.S. They release this information every month with the Bureau of Economic Analysis in the U.S. International Trade in Goods and Services report (FT-900). The trade statistics are a critical economic indicator used to calculate the Gross Domestic Product, which is one way to measure the health of the U.S. economy.
