Actual contamination for the surface water pathway
Term · Environment · MLC-T-ENV-000418
A portion of a surface water body is considered subject to actual contamination if it meets criteria for an observed release. Sampling data from aqueous, sediments, or essentially sessile, benthic organisms may be used to establish actual contamination.
