Level I Concentrations for the Human Food Chain Threat
Term · Environment · MLC-T-ENV-015653
Level I concentrations are established for tissue samples from aquatic human food chain organisms in which the concentration of a hazardous substance that meets the criteria for an observed release is at or above its specific health - based benchmarks. The tissue sample must also be taken from within the boundaries of the area of actual contamination. Aqueous and sediment sample results cannot be used to establish Level I concentrations for this threat.
