Level II concentration for the surface water pathway

Level II concentrations are established in samples in which the concentration of at least one hazardous substance meets the criteria for an observed release, but the conditions for Level I concentrations are not met, with certain exceptions for the food chain threat. In addition, Level II concentrations are assigned to observed releases established by direct observation.
