Canopied Landscape

The type of visual landscape to be found under an extensive, continuous crown cover of trees-as within a forest. The overhead foliage and branches define the ceiling plane and the per- spective closure of tree stems or screens of understory shrubs and young trees or land forms define the side enclosures.
